LAUREN BECHTEL

Originally from Pennsylvania, Lauren studied International Development at Houghton College in Western New York, with study abroad programs and internships taking her to 11 countries during her undergraduate studies. It comes as no surprise that her passion for travel and adventure started early in life!

Lauren fell in love with the Rocky Mountains first in Glacier National Park in Montana. After several years in in Montana, Lauren discovered that Colorado winters and summers both held that high alpine magic. Lauren has been based out of the Vail Valley since 2019, where she lives with her partner and their dog. In her free time, you’ll find Lauren on the river in their raft, out hiking and backpacking in the mountains, or watercolor painting landscapes.
