Getting to Steamboat Springs, CO by Road

Steamboat is approximately 160 miles N.W. of Denver and is an easy scenic 3-hour drive (in dry conditions). If you fly into Denver you have several options to complete the journey to Steamboat:
- GO Alpine - a Steamboat taxi company provides a shuttle from/to Denver International Airport (DEN). They are reasonably priced and comfortable. We can reserve this for you.
- A variety of car rentals are available from Denver or Hayden. Let us know if we can make a reservation for you.
- A private airport shuttle service is economical for groups of 8 or more.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM DENVER
(3 - 4 hours in good conditions)
- Take I 70 west through the Eisenhower Tunnel to Silverthorne, Exit 205 (67 miles).
- Take CO 9 North to Kremmling (37 miles), then West on US 40 to Steamboat Springs (53 miles). (Caution: chains/snow tires are required in winter!).
- When you come into Steamboat go past the Mt. Werner Rd exit (Mountain Village) and continue to Anglers Drive (Starbucks/McDonalds Intersection) and turn right.
- Sundance Plaza is on your right - continue on Anglers Dr. to the 3rd entrance and turn right and park. You should see our office at the back, next to Fiesta Jalisco Mexican restaurant.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM THE HAYDEN AIRPORT
(30 - 40 minutes in good conditions)
- At the exit of the airport turn right and take the US40 direction east towards Steamboat Springs.
- After 22 miles the US40 leads you into Steamboat Springs Downtown.
- After another approximately 2 miles turn left onto Anglers Dr. (Starbucks/McDonalds Intersection)
- Sundance Plaza is on your right - continue on Anglers Dr. to the 3rd entrance and turn right and park. You should see our office at the back, next to Fiesta Jalisco Mexican restaurant.
